Garage floor - interlocking tiles

The garage floor interlocking tile is quickly becoming the choice of garage owners who want to have a stylish appearance to the garage floor. These tiles also protect the concrete floor underneath and are very easy to install and clean. The tiles are made from polypropylene and fit together so tightly you won’t be able to get your fingernail down between two tiles. If you work with oil and grease in the garage and are worried that spills might stain the floor, you don’t have to worry because this flooring resists chemical spills and they are easy to clean up.

Each tile is one foot square and comes in a variety of colors and designs. You can mix and match various colors to have a staggered design to your floor or you can stick with one design to create a smooth effect. You just need to use a rubber hammer to tap them into place and when you need to cut a tile to fit around the sides of the garage, a simple utility knife will do the job. You don’t need to do any preparatory work to the floor as you would with painting or staining. If there are any uneven places you might want to level them out to give the garage floor a smoother effect, but you can just lay these tiles on the concrete. You don’t even have to glue them down, making it very easy to take them with you if you decide to move.

The tiles are durable and easy to walk on. They will withstand the weight of vehicles because they have a load capacity of 3200 pounds per square inch. You don’t have to worry about the heat of the tires doing any damage to the tiles because they are so strong. When you want to clean the tiles, all you have to do is use the garden hose and wash off the floor.
